A collection is always a designer's personal expression. Yes, there is always a theme and concept which is worked around. But I believe that an artist's piece of heart is in the work he does. Had a long urge to work with natural dyed, handwoven cotton. Being a personal favourite, natural cotton feels home. It feels easy, subtle and warm. It becomes your favourite skin to be in, even if it is years old. This collection is fuss free. It's slow and easy. Subtle and sublime. It's a reminder for us to pause and breathe. Lets stop the glorification of busy.
This collection is a contrast to our work previously. But our focus is the same. The fabrics are woven by the women in Charaka. They are ethically made with a lot of effort. They are then designed and hand crafted by us. The capsule collection is now available online.
