Designing is unlike any other profession. There are no rules, there are no boundaries and no bad design. Designing is a frame of mind. Designing a way of expressing yourself, looking inside yourself, sometimes consciously or subconsciously. When I started designing the new collection, it was a lot of trial and error, Some pieces I was confident about and some just happened. I don't think any artist ever completely happy with their end products. There are always things you want to change, to improvise, to make it better or to try another colour.

The response to this collection has been overwhelming! It is such joy to see the Ilkal handlooms and Kasuti which are the treasures of North Karnataka reaching different parts of India and the World! This majority of this collection consists of sets but work wonderfully as separates as well. They are versatile and simple enough to be blended into different styles. Here I have paired the checkered crop top with a printed chiffon skirt and accentuated the look with gold accessories. You can shop the new collection here.
